Does any one know why one of my red eared sliders is growing and the other one is staying hatchling size??? I’ve had them three and a half months.

yeah…. you should not have stole an animal from its natural habitat and WHILE ITS HIBERNATING! probably died from shock or infection due to poor ( forget the word ) in other words you may have to cared for it well enough

Goldfish are Bread weird. Theres something in them that lowers turtles immune systems and such. Its not a huge effect but over time feeding them to our turtles you will notice they get weaker.
Alligator Snapping turtles Hatchlings Should not be given Goldfish. They should have Reptomin Worms Minnows. or really what ever is cooked.

Why not goldfish?? Why?? My alligator snapping turtle has been eating gold fish for almost 6 months now, and i never, ever seen any health issues. Copper sulfite from goldfish farms are the only problem every keeper have to face. But i make sure all the goldfish that i bought are quarantined in a separate tank with continuous water change every day.
