i now have a turtle …
i now have a turtle dock that you can see in my other videos, but yeah rocks are good. make sure you BOIL them for like 5-10 mins minimum to kill the bacteria tho. my tank is 3ft3inches long, holds 180l of water when full

no my turtles wont …
no my turtles wont get impaction from this type of sand. its play sand, which is made for kids play boxes. reason being is that if a child injests it it doesnt hurt them, and same goes with the turtles. reptile sand isnt even this good, its not as fine and usually isnt designed to get wet either

Try getting like, large rocks from the ground. Thoroughly clean it, too. I’m planning to do that. :p

nope i didnt do much to it, i just rinsed it through thoroughly to get as much of the dust out as possible. here in the vid i have both strip lights on too, that makes quite a difference in making it brighter

oh my gosh thats …
oh my gosh thats play sand? I use play sand in my 75 gallon goldfish tank but it doesnt look like that! Did u do anything to it to make it look that way because my sand has a bunch of little rocks and stuff. Dont get me wrong it looks nice and more natural but i like the way your sand looks.

cheers, the platform in the center is a few rocks built up on top of eachother, and then basically a rock looking ornament on the top there. its not a filter no, the bubbles are there just for show, plus creates a little bit of current and interest for them.

thanks, it’s play sand. the same sand used in kids play boxes. therefore as harmless as can be! :)
